This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the 2nd respondent herein to issue Non - Traceble Certificate to the 1/4
petitioner based on his complaint dated 19.05.2023, within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.
2.Mr.B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.
3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation/Complaint dated 19.05.2023 before the respondent police for missing of his Doc.No.411/1972, but no action was taken as on date and hence, he has also sent a representation to the respondents.
5.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2023 is pending before the respondent police. 2/4
6.Considering the above, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and complete the same by following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, the petitioner shall workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.
