Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order in Mike Permission No.52/2017 dated 24.03.2017 of the third respondent and consequential order of second respondent and to quash the same, consequently directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary Police Protection to perform the cultural programme (ie. ) Adal Padal Dance Programme on 09.04.2017 at 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm in the Festival of Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Thirukovil at Adaikkanpatti, Andipatty Taluk. Theni District. For Petitioner : Mr.V.Manikandan For Respondents : Mr.K.Guru, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for records relating to the impugned orders dated 24.03.2017 passed by the third respondent and consequential order passed by the second respondent and quash the same, by way of issuing a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that a representation has been given by the petitioner and the same has been partly rejected by the third respondent without assigning proper reason and in pursuance of the order passed by the third respondent, the second respondent has also passed the consequential order. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order. 4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the impugned orders dated 24.03.2017 passed by the second and third respondents are quashed. The second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 24.03.2017 and dispose of the same on merits within a period of two days.
