Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to make arrangement to facilitate the petitioner and their faction members for peaceful worship during the consecration ceremony of Sree Manicka Nachiamman Temple situated in Muranikalam, Nerkuppai Village of Sivagangai District to be held on 12.07.2024 by protecting the petitioners' customary religious practice of performing Mandagapadi as per schedule as stated in the affidavit and consequently to facilities in equal receipt of Kalanchi (Prasadham) to all the 5 faction members in the customary order without any discrimination based on petitioners' representation dated 08.07.2024, within the time frame stipulated by this Court.
