Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court Directing the 1st Respondent i.e., the Director of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Chennai to pass appropriate orders on the revised proposals sent by the District Collector, Kanyakumari @ Nagercoil in his R.C.V3/4628/2013 dated 08-03-2017 for the purpose of revising the petitioners pensionary benefits counting the contingent service put in by him within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

This Contempt Petition is filed to punish the respondent for wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.19768 of 2019, dated 14.10.2019.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent on instructions submitted that the order of this Court has been complied with vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.38631/2020/E1 dated 07.12.2020.
