ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH,J.) The present petition is filed for issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus to produce the body or person of the petitioner's daughter, namely, Jansirani aged about 21 years, before this Court .

2. When the petitioner's daughter Jansirani, born on 04.11.2002 (aged about 21 years), went missing from his house from 22.05.2023 onwards, he had given a complaint to the second respondent herein, which was registered in Crime No.229 of 2023 under woman missing category. Since there was no progress in the investigation, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

3. This Court had directed the second respondent Police to trace the whereabouts of the petitioner's daughter and accordingly, the second respondent herein had produced the petitioner's daughter, Jansirani, before this Court today. We had an interaction with the girl, who informed us that she was in love with one Murugan and since the petitioner had opposed the

same, she had married the said Murugan on 25.05.2023 at Arulmigu Karumariamman Kovil, Thiruverkadu, Chennai. She stated that the petitioner's husband, Murugan is employed in one Bharath Tailors and both of them are residing in No.622, Kolappadi, Andimadam, Ariyalur District.

4. When the petitioner's daughter, who is a major, has consciously taken a decision to live with her husband, issuance of writ of Habeas Corpus may not arise.
