Respondent Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to dispose the representation dated 22.08.2016 by way of deducting the maintenance amount and also the retirement benefits of the 5th respondent and pay the same to the petitioner.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ The writ petitioner is the wife of the fifth respondent. The fifth respondent was employed in the Agricultural department. It

appears that the relationship between the writ petitioner and the fifth respondent came under strain. The writ petitioner filed M.C.No.26 of 2005 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi and the learned Judicial Magistrate awarded maintenance amount for the petitioner as well as the son born through the fifth respondent. The petitioner filed this writ petition for stopping the disbursement of the retirement benefits to the fifth respondent. 2.Today, both the writ petitioner as well as the fifth respondent appeared before me. The parties are presently living together. The parties have also filed a compromise memo before this Court. The said compromise memo is taken on record. The fifth respondent, who appeared before me specifically undertook to abide by the said compromise memo.

3.In view of the aforesaid undertaking of the fifth respondent, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
