.. Respondent Prayer:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to return his original driving license bearing D.L.No.TN-48-19940000391 by considering his representation dated 04.04.2017.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent. 2.Though the writ petition has been filed for issuing a writ of Mandamus to give positive direction to the respondent to return the petitioner's original Driving License, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider his representation, dated 04.04.2017, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer now sought before this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4. The respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 04.04.2017, and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
