ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent herein to enquire and to revoke the Adangal certificate issued in favour of the respondents 4 and 5 regarding the S.No. 737 of petitioner's property situated at Vasudevanallur Village, Sivakiri Taluk, Tenkasi District, which is received by the respondents 4 and 5 illegally as if they are cultivating the paddy crops. Consequently, direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.10.2025, sent through registered post with acknowledgement due, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner is claiming right over the property in Sruvey No.737. The contention of the petitioner is that the second respondent has issued the Adangal 2/5
certificate in favour of respondents 4 and 5 in respect of the subject property, which belongs to the petitioner. The said Adangal certificate was made without issuing notice to the petitioner and without conducting any enquiry. Aggrieved over the same, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2025, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the respondents 4 and 5, conduct an enquiry by affording them an opportunity of personal hearing and thereafter pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
