ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) The petitioner's son Sakthivel (C.P.No.23598) is a convict prisoner and is presently lodged in the central prison, Trichy. The petitioner gave a representation to the prison authorities for transferring him from the Central Prison, Trichy to the Central Prison, Coimbatore and thereafter filed the present writ petition.

2. Today, Mr.K.Senthil Kumar, (Assistant Jailor), Central Prison, Madurai is present.

3. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the representation of the petitioner was considered. Since Sakthivel was involved in some prison offences earlier in Coimbatore central prison, the Superintendent of Coimbatore Central Prison, is not ready to accept the petitioner's son to Coimbatore Central Prison. In such view of the matter, we direct the second respondent to dispose of representation dated 05.07.2022 given by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.
