PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation and file the Final Report in Crime No.112 of 2018, on the file of the 2nd respondent police, within the time stipulated by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation and file the Final Report in Crime No.112 of 2018, on the file of the 2nd respondent police, within the time stipulated by this Court. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would state that the FIR in Crime No.112 of 2018 is pending from the year 2018, without filing the final report till date.

4. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the First Information Report has been referred as 'mistake of fact' and seeks time to file the Final Report.

5. Considering the above submission, the second respondent is directed to serve RCS Notice to the petitioner and file the Final Report in Crime No.112 of 2018, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
