Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation dated 25.04.2026 and to take appropriate action and direct the respondents 2 and 3 to pass appropriate direction and restrain the respondents 5 and 6 from plying vehicle TN-38N-3283 or any other bus or vehicle bearing any other registration number carrying passenger without any route permit in the route of Kulithalai to Thuraiyur via. Musiri, Thathaiyangarpettai, Eragudi and pass necessary and appropriate order or direction at the earliest within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.04.2026 and 2/6
to take action on the respondents 5 and 6 from plying the vehicle bearing registration No.TN-38-N-3283 or any other bus or vehicle bearing any other registration number without any route permit in the route from Kulithalai to Thuraiyur via. Musiri, Thathaiyangarpettai, Eragudi and for further or other orders.
2. Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, the case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the operator of a Stage Carriage Permit in respect of the vehicle bearing registration No.TN-63-AS-6499 on the route from Karur to Thammampatti via Kulithalai, Musiri, Thathaiyangarpettai and Eragudi. It is his contention that the respondents 5 and 6 are operating the bus without any permit whatsoever, which is directly affecting his business.
3. The learned Government Standing Counsel, on written instructions, submitted that instructions have already been issued to the Motor Vehicle Inspector Grade-1, Unit Office Musiri and Thuraiyur to inspect the route and take necessary action. In view of the nature of relief, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage without notice to the 3/6
respondents 5 and 6. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the allegations made.
4. In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of on the following terms:
(i) The second respondent shall take up the representation of the petitioner dated 25.04.2026;
(ii) Due notice to the petitioner as well as the respondents 5 and 6 shall be given and after hearing both sides, orders in accordance with law shall be passed;
(iii) In any event, the said excise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a web copy of the order.
(iv) No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
