Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to issue a direction to the respondent police to give adequate police protection to the petitioners and the 1st petitioner's land situated in Sy.No.274, at Erichanatham Village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District in accordance with the petitioner's representation, dated 15.09.2018 within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The grievance of the petitioner is that they are the owners of the land and the third respondent is interfering with the possession of the property and is threatening the petitioner and therefore, this petition has been filed seeking for police protection.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the police have given police protection twice for the purpose of taking survey and the survey has also been completed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, if there is interference from the third respondent, the petitioner

will have to seek the remedy before the appropriate Civil Court. Police protection will not be granted in a case of this nature. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
