ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to accept the petitioner's application and survey his land comprised in Old Survey No.788/2 in New Survey No.1001/4 at Vijaya Achampadu Village, Ittamozhi Panchayat, Thisayanvilai Taluk, Tirunelveli District and fix the boundaries thereon based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.07.2019. 2.Heard Mr.C.K.M.Appaji, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner, in order to survey and identify the four boundaries of the land in Old Survey No.788/2 in New Survey No.1001/4 at Vijaya Achampadu Village, Ittamozhi Panchayat, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Thisayanvilai Taluk, Tirunelveli District, has made a representation to the respondents on 10.07.2019. Hence, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, if the said representation is decided by the respondents on merits, within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied. 4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner dated 10.07.2019 would be considered and decided on merits, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 5.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, at the stage of admission itself, with the following direction: "The respondents, especially, the 1st respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.07.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
