ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to conduct fair investigation by giving sufficient opportunity to the petitioner by reversing 63 settled claims in Crime No.1 of 2020 dated 27.08.2020 on the file of the second respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police did not conduct the investigation in a proper manner and so far the petitioner settled the amount to the 63 persons and the same was not taken into account by the second respondent. He further submitted that during the course of investigation, the petitioner produced two documents, but the second respondent refused to receive the same. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation is going on in a proper manner and he further submitted that already a direction was issued by 2/5

this Court in Crl.O.P(MD).No.4248 of 2021 dated 06.04.2023 to complete the investigation process within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of that order. As per the order of this Court, entire investigation will be completed in the month of October 2023.

4. In view of the above submission, the respondent police is directed to comply with the order of this Court in Crl.O.P(MD).No.4248 of 2021 dated 06.04.2023.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
