O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to dispose of the Revision Petition filed by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4.It is the case of the petitioner that he retired on the age of 58 on 31.10.2006 and now he has attained the age of 69 and still he is not able to get the retirement benefits due to him. The petitioner is stated to have filed Grievance Day Petition to the District Collector, complaining that the retirement benefits were curtailed by the respondents. In respect of the petition filed, the second respondent issued a report to the third respondent, stating that the installment dues to be collected by the society/bank from its members, has to be paid by the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has filed a revision before the third respondent and the third respondent directed the second respondent to constitute a committee under him. Accordingly, the second respondent constituted a committee and filed a report.

But, both the reports of the two committees formed by the second respondent, are contradictory to each other. Therefore, the petitioner filed another revision before the third respondent and the same is pending. The third respondent has not taken cognizance of the revision petition filed by the petitioner. 5.Having regard to the limited prayer made in this Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the third respondent to dispose of the Revision Petition filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
