O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider his application, dated 18.09.2014, for cancellation of sale deed, in terms of Circular No.67, dated 03.11.2011, issued by the first respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the land in S.No.1474 in Mudivathanendhal Village, Thoothukudi Taluk and District to an extent of 2 acres and 55 cents. Subsequently, his land was sold by some third parties. Hence, he has filed an application before the second respondent for cancellation of the above said sale deed and the application is pending for a long time. Therefore, he has come forward with the present writ petitioner.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

4. This Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application, dated 18.09.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the rival claimant, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
