Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.03.2017 to stop the opening of the new TASMAC shop in Bharathi Nagar, Kalappakulam Panchayat, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 30.03.2017 in respect of opening of a new TASMAC shop in Bharathi Nagar, Kalppakulam Panchayat, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tirunelveli District, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has reiterated the averments made in the petition, but the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent has contended to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

effect that there is no proposal to establish a new TASMAC shop in the place mentioned in the petition.

3.Considering the representation made on the side of the second respondent, the relief sought in the Writ Petition has become unwarranted and therefore the same deserves to be dismissed.
