ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4 (1) (A) Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 02.10.2018, when the complainant was conducting usual checkup, at that time, he came to know that the accused person was illegally trying to transport the liquor bottles. Hence the complaint. Based on the complaint, a case has been registered in Crime No.183 of 2018. Thereafter, A1 was arrested and based on his confession, the petitioner herein / A2 was arrested.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was implicated in this case only on the strength of the confession statement of A1 and he had played no role in this crime. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner is a history sheet offender and he has 24 previous cases to his credit. 5.Considering the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner herein.
