The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to extend the parole to the petitioner from 09.09.2016 for a period of six weeks to undergo the treatment as inpatient in Meenakshi Mission & Research Hospital, Madurai.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 09.09.2016, the parole period already granted to the petitioner
for taking medical treatment at Meenakshi Mission & Research Hospital, Madurai, was extended till 30.09.2016 and subsequently, on 29.09.2016, it was further extended till 01.11.2016. 4.When the matter is taken up for hearing today i.e., on 01.11.2016, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been discharged from Meenakshi Mission & Research Hospital, Madurai and now he is ready to surrender before the Prison Authorities.
5. Recording the submission, this petition is closed and the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Superintendent of Police, Central Prison, Madurai, on 01.11.2016 at 06.00 p.m. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No Costs.
