(Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.) The petitioner filed this writ petition to direct the respondents not to open a Tasmac shop at Door No.3/252A, Prithvi Nagar, Ayyanar Colony, Sithurajapuram Village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2.The representation submitted by the petitioner is pending before the District Collector.

3.We therefore, direct the District Collector, Virudhunagar to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 27 March 2017, on merits and as per law. The Status quo as on today, shall be maintained till a decision is taken by the District Collector, pursuant to the representation referred to above.

4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
