This petition is filed to direct the second respondent police to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.40 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent police.

2.The petitioner is the de facto complainant in Crime No.40 of 2021, which was registered against the accused person, for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 409 of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of eight months, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police seeks four months time to complete the investigation and file a final report.
