This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to give permission to conduct Mulaipari function during the festival of Sree Arulmigu Muthumariamman temple on 25.07.2023 based on the petitioners representation dated 16.06.2023.
2.Mr.B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondents.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the representation that was made by the petitioner, on 16.06.2023, seeking permission to conduct Mulaipari function during the temple festival. Since the same was not considered so far, this writ petition has been filed.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2023, has been received by the authority only on 20.06.2023 and it will be considered by the second respondent.

5.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2023, received by them on 20.06.2023, immediately, and pass orders by following the order passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in the case of C.Sathasivam Vs. The Superintendent of Police, Trichy District and another, in W.P.(MD).No.12535 of 2023, dated 24.05.2023 and in the light of the circular of the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai in Rc.007301/Genl.I (1)/2019 dated 09.04.2019. 6.With the above said directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
