This Writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2016, for the revision and re-fixation of the petitioner's salary, based on the recommendation of One Man Commission 2010 and revised Scale of Pay Rules 2009 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.B.Prahalad Ravi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Bharathi, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage. 3.According to the petitioner, she was appointed as a Milk Recorder, Grade - II, through employment exchange on 07.10.1987. Considering her length of service in the respondent Union, she is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
entitled to get special grade in Grade-I and she has to be given promotion to the post of Deputy Manager (Diary). Subsequent to the appointment of the petitioner, her salary should have been refixed by conferring special grade in Grade I. But that has not been done. Requesting re-fixation and revision of the salary, several representations have been given and the last one is dated 02.07.2016. As the said representations were not considered, this Writ Petition has been filed.
4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that it is the bounden duty of the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders.
5.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.07.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
