This petition has been filed, seeking to call for the records of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No. 04/Kathu.k./Musiri camp/16 date 10.07.2016 and to quash the same consequently directing the 2nd Respondent to give permission for conducting Arulmigu Sree Muthu Mariyamman Temple Thiruvizha procession to be held from the temple to Old Mand through Ambedkar Street Thuraiyur to Sellipalayam Highways and return on same route in Ambedkar Nagar Sellipalayam Village Thuraiyur Taluka Trichy District.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the relief sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous, inasmuch as the petitioner has sought for permission to conduct procession from 11.07.2016 to 13.07.2016, which was rejected by the authorities by impugned order dated 10.07.2016 and we are now in the year 2017.
3. In view of the above submission, this petition is closed as having become infructuous. No costs.
