ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for 1st respondent. Since no order prejudicial to the interest of the 2nd respondent is going to be passed, the notice to 2nd respondent is dispensed with.

2. The petitioner is a member of the second respondent Association viz., Tiruchirappalli District Cricket Association. On his complaint, the first respondent initiated an enquiry under Section 36 of the Tamil Nadu Society Registration Act against the 2nd respondent and the enquiry is pending for more than one year. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that pending enquiry, the second respondent is now going to conduct Annual General Meeting, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

hence, he filed the present Writ Petition to forbear the second respondent from approving the list of persons (annexed with the AGM notice, dated 29.08.2015 of the 2nd respondent) as life members of the Association until the first respondent decides the admissibility of them as members of the 2nd respondent Association.

Since the enquiry regarding administration of the second respondent Association including the admissibility of members, is pending with the first respondent/the Registrar of Societies, the first respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the parties concerned. The petitioner is permitted to raise all his objections before the first respondent and the first respondent is directed to consider the said objections while passing orders in the matter. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
