5.Petchimuthu : Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the impugned peace committee proceedings of the 3rd respondent herein dated 24.08.2016 and quash the same and direct the respondents 1 to 4 herein to conduct the Mulaipari festival of Sri Manthaiamman Temple Thirumancholai Village Sivagangai Taluk Sivagangai District as per the peace committee proceedings dated 27.07.2012 of the 4th respondent herein.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the impugned peace committee proceedings of the 3rd respondent herein dated 24.08.2016 and quash the same and direct the respondents 1 to 4 herein to conduct the Mulaipari festival of Sri Manthaiamman Temple Thirumancholai Village Sivagangai Taluk https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Sivagangai District as per the peace committee proceedings dated 27.07.2012 of the 4th respondent herein.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the Peace Committee was conducted by the second respondent on 06.09.2016. Subsequently, the first respondent conducted Peace Committee meeting on 12.09.2016 and in the above said meeting some amicable settlement has been arrived between the parties to conduct the festival.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the above said Peace Committee meeting is only restricted to the present year and it cannot be treated as a precedents for the next year and if any dispute arises in future the respondents should conduct separate Peace committee Meeting, for the coming years.

4. Recording the above said submission, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
