Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey and locate the four boundaries of petitioner's punjai land measuring with an extent of 0.28.0 Hectares, situate in New Survey No.256/10 at Kamanur Village Panchayat, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District, based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.01.2017. 2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The case of the petitioner is that she is the owner of the land comprised in New Survey No.256/10 at Kamanur Village Panchayat, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District. She has requested the respondents to measure and survey her land through her representation, dated 05.01.2017. She apprehends that the respondent will not take stringent steps to have the property surveyed and measured at the earliest and hence, she has filed this Writ Petition.

4. Though the petitioner has made the representation very recently on 05.01.2017, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is an exigency, whereby survey has to be conducted at the earliest point of time.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 05.01.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
