ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to number and dispose of O.A.No. /2019 filed by the petitioner under Section 54(1) of Act 22/59 in respect of Arulmigu Sundara Mahalingasamy Temple, Sathuragiri, Saptur Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed application under Section 54(1) of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 [hereinafter referred to as ''the H.R. & C.E. Act'']. The respondent's Office earlier returned the papers with an endorsement on 24.01.2019, which was complied by the petitioner. After compliance has been made by the petitioner, the respondent has once again returned the papers stating that the connected proceeding is pending before the Principal Seat of this Court. However, the details have not been furnished.

3.Since this Writ Petition is of the year 2019, I do not find any reason to keep the Writ Petition pending any longer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Writ Petition (MD) No.16612 of 2019 Considering the above, this Court directs the respondent to number the petition filed under Section 54(1) of the H.R. & C.E. Act, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondent shall fix the date of hearing and complete the proceedings within a period of 30 days thereafter. 4.This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
