ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 29.05.2016 in order to regularize his service as driver in the respondent corporation. 2.Heard Mr.R.N.Arun Swaminathan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.P.Muthupandi, learned Standing Counsel who takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 3.The respondent/Corporation by proceedings dated 13.09.2012, appointed the petitioner as Reserve Conductor. After appointment, the petitioner is working without any remarks. At the time of appointment, the petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.10,000/- to the Director of IRT, Chennai.

4.It is the grievance of the petitioner that since his service has not been regularized, he has given a representation dated 29.05.2016 to the respondent. As the same has not been considered so far, the present writ petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent would submit that the respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.05.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

6.In view of the submission made by the learned standing counsel for the respondent, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.05.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
