PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent to file final report in FIR Crime No.182 of 2016 pending on his file as this Court may be fix the time.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.182 of 2016 dated 21.06.2016 pending on the file of the respondent.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.182 of 2016 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 IPC by the respondent police. But so far no investigation has been conducted on the said complaint. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that the investigation on the complaint given by the petitioner is in progress and final report will be filed shortly.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in the case in Crime No.182 of 2016 and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
