Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the above said respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner sent to the 3rd Respondent dated 14.07.2021 related to remove the petitioner's name from the History Sheet List maintained by the 3rd respondent police within a time frame limit by perusing all the documents submitted on the side of the petitioner. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the above said respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner sent to the 3rd Respondent dated 14.07.2021 and to remove the petitioner's name from the History Sheet List maintained by the 3rd respondent police.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the year 2015, there were criminal cases registered against the petitioner. Thereafter, he is not involving in any such crime activities and he is undertaking treatment for heart disease. Based on the criminal cases, for every year, the respondent police called upon the petitioner to attend the enquiry. The petitioner sent a representation to the respondents on 14.07.2021 to remove his name from the history sheet. Since there is no action on the part of the respondents, the petitioner has filed this petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.16393 of 2021 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner has involved in 32 previous cases on the file of the third respondent police station. However, he would submit that the representation of the petitioner is still pending. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.07.2021, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
