ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to restore the online patta in the name of the petitioner's father, namely, Ramasamy, S/o. Perumal, in respect of the lands comprised in Survey Nos. 109/1, 121, 194/2, 289/3, 299/1, 299/2, 299/3, 471/1, 558/11, 558/13, 558/6, 574, 584/1B, 585/1B, 608, 610/1, 610/5, 613/2, 614/1, 615, 624/2, 631/21, 640/2, 648/1 and 660, situated at Thenkarai Village, Vembakottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2026 and after affording him a reasonable opportunity of hearing, within such time as may be stipulated by this Court.

2. In the said representation, the petitioner has sought restoration of the patta standing in the name of his father. According to the petitioner, patta had been granted in respect of the above survey numbers. However, certain survey numbers have been deleted from the online revenue records. 2/5

In view of the above, this Court is directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation 10.04.2026, and conduct an enquiry, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
