Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. The present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the first respondent to allot Accident Relief Fund, namely, Rs.50,000/- to the petitioner as per G.O.Ms.No.49 Home (Tr.IV) Department dated 09.01.2012. 4.According to the petitioner his brother one T.S.Anandamani died in a road accident on 25.11.2015 and on the death of his brother a case in Crime No.386 of 2015 has been registered by the Kottampatti Police Station. Further, as per G.O.Ms.No.49 Home (Tr.IV) Department dated 09.01.2012, he is entitled to victim compensation of Rs.50,000/-. Hence, he made an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
application dated 04.07.2016, to the respondents and the same is pending.
5.Today, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner has not filed the application in proper format and if applications are filed in the appropriate format to the concerned authority, the same will be considered. 6.In the above circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the petitioner is directed to submit his application in the proper format to the Inspector of Police, Kottampatti Police Station within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the Inspector of Police, Kottampatti Police Station is directed to submit the same to the concerned authority forthwith and the concerned authority is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the same.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
