ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the impugned refusal check slip dated 12.02.2026. The petitioner had presented a certified copy of the Lok Adalat Award for registration, under which the defendant had relinquished his rights in favour of the petitioner for a lump-sum consideration. The document was refused registration on the ground that the petitioner should first mutate the patta and thereafter present the Lok Adalat Award for registration. Though the refusal check slip is under challenge, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the patta has since been mutated in the petitioner's favour. 2.In view thereof, this Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms: i) The impugned refusal check slip shall stand set aside; ii) Within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a web copy of this order, the petitioner shall re-present the document along with Patta No. 6726 which is said to have been mutated in the name of the petitioner. 2/4
