ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/accused who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 498 (A),406 of I.P.C., and section 3(1) and 4 of D.P.Act,1961 in Crime No.22 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. It is seen that the petitioners have earlier filed applications for anticipatory bail before the District Court,Nagercoil in Crl.M.P.Nos.2860 and 2939 of 2023, suppressing https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.11380 of 2023 the said fact again the petitioners have approached this Court. Infact the petitioners were granted interim anticipatory bail and they were also directed to return the jewels and house hold articles which were presented during the marriage.

3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition stands dismissed with costs. The Petitioners are directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand only) as costs to the legal services authority attached to this Bench.
