ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to change the survey number in T.S.L.R as T.S.No.41 Part and 42 Part instead of T.S.No.41 with correct measurements in Ward-1, Block No.0008, Pandamangalam Village, Abishekapuram Zone, Tiruchirappalli West Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.04.2026 in the light of correlation certificate dated 01.04.2026 issued by the third respondent within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.
2. The contention of the petitioner is that the subject property has been erroneously recorded as T.S.No.41 in the revenue records. According to the petitioner, the correct survey particulars ought to be reflected as T.S.No.41 Part and T.S.No.42 Part. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking a 2/5
direction to the respondents to effect necessary corrections in the relevant records.
3. The competent authority to consider the petitioner's request is the second respondent. However, the second respondent shall obtain a report from the fourth respondent/Tahsildar and verify the relevant records. Accordingly, respondents 2 and 4 are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.04.2026 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
