For Respondent : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 219 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/ accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Sections 147,148,294(b),324 of IPC and section 3(1) of TNPPDL Act in Crime No.219 of 2022 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner came to the shop of the defacto complainant and threatened the defacto complainant showing knife and broken the showcase glass by arual and also assaulted him with empty bottle. Hence, the complaint.

3. Heard both side and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report. It is reported that four similar previous cases are pending against the petitioner. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

4. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner is having four similar previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
