ORDER

This Writ Petition filed to direct the respondent No.3 to give adequate police protection to conduct the temple festival scheduled to be held on 25.06.2023 to 27.06.2023 in Sri Meenatchiamman Thirukovil situated at Karupakovilpatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2023 .

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

Reading of the representation that was made by the petitioner shows that because of the trouble between the two groups of people, on 05.08.2022, Peace Committee Meeting was conducted by Tahsildar, Manapparai, and there was resolution adopted in the above said meeting. But later, some of the persons namely Tamilselvan, Ayyakkannu, Chinnakalai, Sakthivel, Rajamani came to the temple place and made a trouble and stopped the continuation of festival also. On that ground, a complaint was given on 21.06.2023 and on that date itself, this petition has been filed. Such sort of act cannot be entertained. At least, breathing 2/4

time must be given to the third respondent herein to consider the above said representation. Hence, this petition cannot be entertained and this petitioner has to wait reasonable time.

4. With the above observation, this Writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
