: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the first respondent impugned notice in Mava.4/2418/19, dated 11.07.2019, published in the Tamil Daily "Dinamalar" on 12.07.2019, in respect of Sl.No.24 and quash the same as it violates the Articles 14 and 15 of the Constitution of India and consequently, direct the first respondent to collect directly to collect rent from the respective shop owners shown in the schedule enclosed with the typed set of papers, in Madurai Town East Marret Daily Street Vegetable Market, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2019 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Challenging the tender floated by the respondent Corporation dated 11.07.2019 and for a consequential direction, directing the Corporation to collect the rent directly from the respective shop owners, the petitioner has approached this Court with the present Writ Petition.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that on 30.07.2019, there were no takers for the bid and, therefore, it was postponed and the Corporation is collecting rent directly from the respective shop owners. Since the immediate threat is diluted, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that nothing survives for adjudication in the present Writ Petition.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
