ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners are in judicial custody since 07.08.2018 for the offences punishable under Section 395 IPC, in Crime No.158 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police. He seeks bail. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 3.The case of the prosecution is that when the de facto complainant and her relatives were attending Dharisanam in Palani temple, around 01.30 p.m., the petitioners and other accused persons snatched 4 sovereign gold chain. Hence, the complaint. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that there was a wordy quarrel and the de facto complainant lodged a false complaint. He further submitted that the petitioners are in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
judicial custody from 07.08.2018 onwards. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioners.
5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent submitted that the petitioners are having many previous cases and they are habitual offenders.
6.Considering the fact that the petitioners are having many previous cases and they are habitual offenders, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
