O R D E R

Heard Mr. V. Karthikraja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr. I. Suthakaran, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

2.The petitioner challenges the order dated 27.03.2026 passed by the respondent under Section 7B of the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.

3.Against an order passed under Section 7B of the Act, an effective and efficacious statutory remedy of appeal is available under Section 7-I of the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952. Since the petitioner has approached this Court without exhausting the said statutory remedy, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition.

4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of, preserving liberty to the petitioner to avail the statutory remedy by filing an appeal 2/4

under Section 7-I of the Act, if so advised and in accordance with law. 5.There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
