This writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to give permission to the petitioner to conduct 'Adal Padal Programme" function on 22.01.2017 on the event of Oorkadu, Punapalalyam Post, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District. 2.It is averred in the petition that the petitioner gave a representation on 05.01.2017 to the respondent seeking permission to conduct 'Aadal Padal Program' on 22.01.2017 on the event of Oorkadu, Punapalalyam Post, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District. But no action has been taken on the side of the respondent. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.

4.Considering the nature of the prayer, this Court issues the following order:
