ORDER

This Writ of Mandamus has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2016 for appointing him as a permanent Sweeper in the respondent corporation.

2.The case of the petitioner is that his father was working as a Sweeper in the respondent Corporation; after his demise on 31.12.2002, the petitioner was employed as a temporary Sweeper on daily wages till 18.07.2005 and thereafter, he is working as a Sweeper on contract basis till date. Claiming that he should be considered for the post of Sweeper on permanent basis, representation dated 23.08.2016 has been submitted by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner to the respondents.

3.The learned counsel for the respondents would submit that if the employment is on contract basis, the Corporation will not have any Record; however, the petitioner's representation would be considered in the light of the claim made in the representation. 4.Under such circumstances, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
