RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to Suspend the Sentence imposed as against the petitioner passed by the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.I (Fast Track Court at Magistrate Level), Madurai in STC No.576 of 2014, dated 13.05.2017, confirming the said order by the Learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai in C.A.No.173 of 2017 dated 22.08.2019, pending disposal of the above Criminal Revision Petition. PRAYER IN Crl.R.C.(MD)No.775 of 2022 :

Pleased to pass to set-aside the order of conviction and imposition of compensation as against the petitioner passed in STC No.576 of 2014 on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.I (Fast Track Court at Magistrate Level), Madurai dated 13.05.2017, confirming the said order passed by the Learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai in C.A.No.173 of 2017 dated 22.08.2019.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. JEGADEESH PANDIAN.M, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.V.KARTHIKEYAN, Advocate on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a sum of Rs.12,50,000/-(Rupees Twelve Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) has been deposited to the credit of S.T.C.No.576 of 2014 before the learned https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.9581 of 2022 Judicial Magistrate No.I(Fast Track Court at Magistrate Level), Madurai and also submitted that the above said amount can be withdrawn by the respondent petitioner herein. He further submitted that he is ready to settle the entire balance amount within a period of three months and he seeks further time of three months to deposit the balance amount.

2. Post the matter on 19.12.2022 for reporting settlement. 3.In the mean time, the respondent shall withdraw the amount that has been deposited by the petitioner before the trial Court by following procedure.
