COMMON PRAYER: Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioners to ply their minibuses bearing Registration Nos.TN60/D 8357 and TN60/D 8365, TN60/B 5252 and TN60/E2203 respectively in any other deviated route by considering the petitioners' representations, dated 21.07.2014. *** COMMON O R D E R These Writ petitions have been filed by the petitioners for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioners to ply their minibuses bearing Registration Nos.TN60/D 8357 and TN60/D 8365, TN60/B 5252 and TN60/E2203 respectively in any other deviated route by considering the petitioners' representations, dated 21.07.2014.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.Mr.V.Pandi, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petitions itself are taken up for final disposal.

Though the Writ petitions are filed for issuing a positive direction to the respondents to permit the petitioners to ply their mini buses in any other deviated route, the learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioners, dated 21.07.2014, within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioners before this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' case, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- "The respondents are directed to consider the representations of the petitioners, dated 21.07.2014, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
