Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.08.2016 and consequently appoint the petitioner in the post of Village Administrative officer under the SC Backlog Vacancy for the year of 2013-2014 or issue fresh advertisement for filling up the Backlog Schedule caste Vacancy for the year 2013 -2014 within the time period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that due to paucity of time, the petitioner may be given liberty to approach the respondent Authorities with appropriate representation citing the ground that the backlog Schedule caste vacancies have not been filled up.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has no serious objection for granting such relief to the petitioner.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned Counsel on either side, the petitioner is granted liberty to file appropriate representation before the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such filing, the same shall be considered by the respondents and appropriate orders be passed on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

4. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
