Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to grant permission and protection to conduct the "Aadalum Paadalum" dance programme on 13.04.2017 from 07.00 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. in pursuant to the Panguni Festival of Arulmighu Sri Santhana Mariamman Temple, situated at Athankaraipatti, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.SP.Vijay Nivas For Respondent : Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, Additional Government Pleader.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for conducting Adalpadal programme in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent. 3.It is seen from the records that on 10.04.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 10.04.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
