O R D E R
This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2017 and to disburse the petitioner's terminal benefits for a sum of Rs.4,15,007.00 along with interest which are the statutory dues to be paid by the respondents, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3. Mr.V.Pandi, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthaiah, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the third respondent. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- "The respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 14.03.2017, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
