When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader clarified that the petition mentioned drainage channel is merely being widened from 1 1⁄2 sq.ft to 2 1⁄2 sq.ft and that its course is not being altered at all. The stand of the respondents is placed on record. It is further stated that the work has already been completed and nothing remains pending.

2. Recording the said submission, this writ petition stands allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
