ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to issue free patta for house site in Natham Survey No.37/4B16 to an extent of 2 cents situated at Y.Kodikkulam Village, Madurai in name of the petitioner, by considering the representations of the petitioner dated 19.03.2018 and 22.07.2019.

2.Heard Ms.K.Malathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner, in order to get patta for the natham land, where, she is residing after constructing a house at S.No. 37/4B16 situated at Y.Kodikkulam 1 Bit village, Madurai and Madurai District, has given a representation to the respondents earlier on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

19.03.2018 and later on 22.07.2019.

However, the said representations of the petitioners have not been considered or still pending. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said representations of the petitioner dated 19.03.2018 and 22.7.2019 would be considered and decided by the respondents, on merits, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, at the stage of admission itself, with the following direction: "The respondents, especially, the 2nd respondent is hereby directed to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 19.03.2018 and 22.07.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
